Carver 9th Grade Academy Principal
A Message from the Principal

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Carver 9th Grade Academy! It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your principal, and I am excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and success alongside our students, families, and dedicated faculty and staff.
The transition to high school is one of the most important milestones in a student’s educational journey. At Carver, we are committed to making that transition both challenging and rewarding by providing a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous environment where every student is encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
At the heart of everything we do is our ALPHA philosophy—Accountability, Loyalty, Passion, Honor, and a Positive Attitude. These are more than words on a wall; they are the values that shape our culture, guide our decisions, and prepare our students for success in high school and beyond. We believe that when students embrace these principles, they become leaders in the classroom, on campus, and in our community.
Our commitment this year is centered on three priorities:
- Supporting Our People by building meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Maintaining a Standards-Based, Organized, and Disciplined School where high expectations are paired with unwavering support.
- Teaching Leadership Through ALPHA, empowering every student to make positive choices, serve others, and grow into responsible young adults.
Parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting us with your child each day. Your partnership is essential to our success, and I encourage you to stay actively involved throughout the school year. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve excellence.
To our students: This is your year. Step onto our campus ready to learn, lead, and leave your mark. Challenge yourself academically, become involved in extracurricular activities, encourage your classmates, and represent Carver with pride. Success is not defined by where you begin but by the choices you make every day. We believe in your potential, and we are committed to helping you achieve it.
On behalf of the entire Carver 9th Grade Academy family, welcome to a new school year filled with opportunity. Together, we will build strong relationships, pursue excellence, and create a culture where every student can thrive.
One Pack. One Purpose.
I look forward to an outstanding 2026–2027 school year.
Justin L. Hendrix, Ed.S.
